Privacy policy

This page explains what data is collected on this site, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data controller

Marie Rouillet [to verify] — [address to complete] — marie.rouillet79@gmail.com.

Data collected and purposes

  • Booking request form: first name, last name, email, phone number, accommodation, dates, number of guests and message. This data is used solely to review your request, reply to you and, if the booking is confirmed, to manage your stay.
  • Contact form: first name, last name, email, phone number and message, in order to reply to you.

Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Your data is never sold, rented out, or used for advertising purposes.

Recipients and service providers

The data is intended solely for the host. It passes through the following technical service providers:

  • Cloudflare (site hosting and Turnstile anti-bot verification);
  • Resend (sending confirmation emails);
  • GitHub (storing booking requests in the site’s private administration area, so the host can follow them up);
  • OpenStreetMap (displaying maps: your browser contacts their servers to load the map).

Some of these providers are located outside the European Union. Transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

Retention period

  • Requests with no follow-up: 3 years maximum after the last exchange.
  • Confirmed bookings: for as long as necessary to manage your stay, then in accordance with the legal accounting retention periods (10 years for accounting records).

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies or audience-measurement tools. Only strictly necessary technical elements may be used (for example, by the anti-bot verification), which does not require your consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to marie.rouillet79@gmail.com.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
